Sale of Black Powder is regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Sale is limited to adults 21 years of age.

Print out and sign the statement of Release and Certification. A signed release statement must be on file to accept an order. Black Powder cannot be resold. Any questions about dealer orders, or other information, please call.

To mix black powder substitute in full-carton orders, please call. Full-carton online orders - twenty-five (25) or fifty (50) pounds - cannot include any black powder substitute.

December 5, 2008. We ran into a problem. Black Powder Substitute comes in round containers. Let's call them "round pegs".

The cartons we use to ship 25 pounds of black powder expects to hold nice, rectangular cans of black powder. That makes us legal. Let us call the space for a can of black powder a "square hole". Please don't get ahead of the explanation.

But when we try to pack a carton full of black powder substitute - we run out of square holes before we finish with all the round pegs. Yeah, OK, so you did see that one coming. And anyone that tried to order 25 pounds of black powder substitute, or even 24 pounds of black powder and onecan (um, "round peg") of black powder substitute - got the call. And Jerry has to explain that we run out of square holes with a round peg or three left over. And so on.

Mixing and matching brands and types of powders just makes sense. But we gotta stop running out of square holes.

So - No More 25lb Orders - if you include any black powder substitute. Or 50 pound orders. You know what I mean. Five (5) and ten (10) pound orders are OK - there is plenty of room in the carton.

Options. First, if you want to order five (5) or ten (10) pounds of black powder substitue - have at it. Everything works fine. If you want to combine black powder and black powder substitute in a five (5) or ten (10) pound order, that words great. But - if you want to place a larger order, twenty-five (25) or fifty (50) pounds, that includes one or more cans of black powder substitute - please call.

Umm - only call during business hours, because we do answer the phone then. Otherwise it won't help either of us. Remember we live in the Central time zone (like, with Houston and Chicago, and Clarksville, AR.)

GOEX Pinnacle is a sulfurless smoke-producing propellant, giving higher velocities by weight than black powder, with less maintenance.

These powders are first quality, stored and shipped with the same care and pride as the powders in our usual product lines. But we do sometimes have some powder left over, or acquired on a special order.

We won't be ordering more of these powders, usually. What we have is for sale, but when it is gone, it is gone.

4. Pay for your blackpowder

We accept major credit cards by phone (1-877-833-1799), certified check and money order for orders to the continental US (lower 48 states). Call for special arrangements for Alaska deliveries.

Note -- there can be no returns of blackpowder once accepted. Neither UPS nor FedEx Ground will accept a blackpowder package from any business or individual, whether for shipment or for return, who does not hold a current UPS hazardous material shipping license.
